When a football match is telecast there are very few ads during the match.
whereas in Cricket, especially these days, you watch Cricket between Ads. I mean you get time for ads between everyover.
FootBall - an 90 min affair.
Cricket - One Day match, Day and Night match, 5 day Test Cricket, and latest 20-20 fever.
Though football is more entertaining, Cricket is the most popular sport in India.

Football or Cricket
Had a chit chat with ma friends about 'Why Cricket is more famous than football in India?'
I was arguing that people in India will watch Asia Cup rather than watching FIFA World Cup which is much more popular around the globe.
My point was basic physical fitness. I would say Cricket is much lazier game compared to Football and hence people in India prefer Cricket to Football.
My friend argued Cricket needs equal physical fitness and that you need more mental strength for C which in turn requires good physical fitness and the popularity of Cricket in India compared to Football is not because of the physical fitness.
To me that is wrong notion.

Save Trees - Ban IPL
For the past one week this was going on in my mind. After looking at this at http://www.iplt20.com I could not resist.
They say it.
Cricket Bats are made of willow which is again from a tree.
While professional players use willow, the mass uses wood from other trees.
Just imagine the number of kids joining Cricket coaching camp every summer?
Imagine the number of teams playing in the parks every weekend all over the country!!!
Imagine how much wood is being cut to make Cricket bats!!!
We are felling trees in the name of our favourite sport - Cricket
Of course, I too have played cricket, but I would say these fancy ads like what an idea sirji and the star endorsements like above, is all nonsense.
Posters for Abhishek Bachan's movies? Thats again a nonsense.
Its all just for money. And i would say - people just think!!!
Can anybody say "Save trees! Ban IPL!!" ??
